Warhammer 40k anyone?

My older brother played the 3rd edition back in early 2000's. I never had the opportunity to play. Just bought a Eldar Codex. I chose them because they are pretty fast at attacking with some descent defense and they look easy to paint for the most part. 

 

Anyone have any good 500 point eldar builds? Or even any tips on playing, painting etc etc.
