Troubles with changing monitors

Hey guys,

 

I'm currently having issues with my monitor. I have just installed Windows on a new PC, and used a separate monitor to do it. Now that I've moved it into my room and switched monitors, I've noticed that it has the same resolution and display settings as the other monitor, which are of lower quality. How do I configure it to change to my new monitor's resolution?

The monitor that I am currently using doesn't come up in display settings, and the other monitor is still listed. Can someone please give me a hand with sorting this out?

Open device manager and uninstall whatever is under the monitors section. Reboot and see what it does then.
