Is This Worth It?

Go to solution Solved by Matias_Chambers,

That's a great build.

This came from my other post where I requested people to put together parts under $2,200aud for $20. Here is one I am considering, but why is it so cheap? Is it worth buying or should I spend less for a pc that requires gaming, recording and editing, or should I simply change a few parts and not overclock to get better cpu cooler ect?

I wouldn't call a $2200 build 'cheap' :D

For 1080p 144Hz gaming and editing, an i7 6700K and GTX 1070 build is what I'd see to be ideal. Don't underestimate the cooler, it's basically a 212 EVO but smaller, quieter, arguably better looking and most importantly, cheaper.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Yea, generally I hear that $1600USD is cheap for a decent build, I will give it some more consideration but to me it looks pretty good... That should push out at least 200frames on csgo...

it is really good for its price @HKZeroFive is one of the best people to come out with such builds. i revised some parts but with slower ram and a 6600k, but managed to squeeze a 1ms monitor and a factory overclocked GPU(posted it at your previous topic). good luck on your build!
