Computer Crashing

So recently whenever i launch a game after turning it on when i get home from school my PC will freeze and i have to press the reset button to do anything, i have no overclock on my GPU (Apartfrom the factory OC) or CPU (Although i cant with the i56500) i dont know why it does it.

 

Please help because i built this system 3 months ago and it has been running fine till recently

Check your fans for dust build up. Use a different header for GPU power. If neither of these work remove the following: GPU, any drives except for the drive with Windows installed, and all except 1 RAM stick. See if it posts, if it does then put your components back in 1 by 1 until you encounter the issue.

It does post with all compenents in, it isn't until a lauch the game that it freezes and i cant use the mouse or keyboard and i have to reset it

hmmm... I'm assuming this happens with ANY game?

yes and after the reset i can launch any game without issue

I would say it might be a hard drive issue... but when you restart it works is weird. If you have another internal drive install a game to that and see if the issue persists. If you can I'd say maybe try re-installing windows

i recently tried on a different drive and no different

I recently tried a different drive, and won't reinstalling windows involve formating my SSD
