Space engineers sound.

So recently I have had no sound in Space Engineers for some reason.... I think it might be directx because I have been having problems in Planetside 2 as well. It randomly crashes for no reason. I have no idea how to reinstall directx or anything. Any help?

ERROR: VAR_TRAINOFTHOUGHT RETURN CHAR(MISSING)

RESTART  BRAINTHOUGHTS_MAJORGOOB.EXE?

UPDATE: Switching audio format to 48000hz fixed the issue. Still leaves the issue of random Planetside CTDs without error logs, but whatever.
