You should be able to, I don't see why not and this review managed to do it so if it doesn't work, just return one of the cards or both and get a single better card.

so thats x4 for each card.

 

that will reduce the bandwidth to each GPU when having two GPUs plugged in.

 

I think its just enough bandwidth if you have a Intel 22nm CPU installed to actually get pcie 3.0 enabled but its not optimal.
