What my main gpu? Crossfire

Hey guys,

I have 2x (crossfire)    VTX3D r9 290x gpu's, but how do i find out witch is the main card? because they are both like 80 degrees in game. So i dont know what is the main card? Anyone know how i can find out?

usually GPU 1 has a higher GPU load on it when gaming

and im assuming its the Top GPU ? idk if thats actually true, logic tells me yes

 

you can also briefly stop the fan with your finger on idle to see which GPU fan % drops. that would do it

Yhe, that was what i was thinking but in-game was gpu-2 like 2  degrees higher? buy in another game was gpu 1 higher?

You have to plug your monitor to the main GPU. If you are getting a picture in your monitor, that means you plugged it to the right card. And in that case, just check which card is the monitor hooked to, and that's your main GPU.

Thats the 1st card. And its the 1st card in MSI afterbruner too. So i guess it the main?
