csgo ughhhh

grayblizzard

so ive been getting this random fps drop and now it is too much as i cant fix it by relaunching or redownloading the game. when i open the game my menu is literally at 11 fps when i have played the game before at 200-300 fps. i know the console commands and have set the limits higher turned off the xbox dvr thing and have my video settings all on low even though i can run the game.

does anyone know how to fix this issue???

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX

I was gunna say about the Xbox DVR but guess u have done that already!!! Make sure drivers are up to date and maybe even roll back a few versions ahah

Unfortunately, CS: GO is just one of those unoptimized games that can run very well on a mediocre spec machine and poorly on a beefy monster for whatever reasons.

Try to ensure that there aren't any processes running in the background that would be considered CPU or GPU intensive. Also, consider using some sort of additional third-party settings such as GeForce Experience's Game Ready drivers. Speaking of which, you could also try rolling back to known (to you) stable drivers.
