Hello folks,

I am looking to build a new computer. I've put together a parts list, but I'd love to get your feedback and thoughts, since this is a pretty unique build in my (limited) experience. Before I go further:

1. My absolute max budget is 1000$ (Monitor and PC)

2. I'd like this build for gaming, i'm not a content creater or do any heavy productivity.

This is the build:

Mobo: MSI B150M Mortar

CPU: i5-6500

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6G

PSU: SeaSonic S12II-520 Bronze

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2x4

SSD: ADATA Premier SP550 (120gb)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Case: Bitfenix Nova

Monitor: Iiyama G-Master Black Hawk

WiFi adapter: TP-Link TL-WN881ND

I checked PcPartPicker and there aren't any problems. Is this okay for 1080p gaming?

Thanks guys!

Get an EVGA 500W Bronze. I dont trust the Seasonic PSU's : http://pcpartpicker.com/product/zNK7YJ/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr

That Wifi card doesnt support wireless AC (which is a lot faster), get this : http://pcpartpicker.com/product/tTdqqs/gigabyte-wireless-network-card-gcwb867di

Is the Corsair VS550 any good? Or the Be Quiet! System Power 8 500W? The one you linked is hilariously expensive in my country for some reason.

I've heard good things about that Seasonic one though, from a guy who knew alot about it.

Also that wifi card is 50 euros... is the TP-LINK Archer T8 any good?

I'm pretty sure I heard that sea-sonic makes some of the best PSU's from the guys on the Newegg Channel. There's a review from Jonny. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story5&reid=185

Here's the review of the 500B. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=351

Edit: Sea-sonic is also a lot more common in European countries.

Corsair makes the best PSU's.

There is no argument there.

Why not? I run a Seasonic in my build (almost the same model actually) and it has been perfect. Runs good and it's not loud at all.

I know Acer and Asus have some pretty good  1080p monitors that are around 90 USD.

I've seen some good ones too but the problem is that OR they're 90$ and have gigantic bezels and look like crap, or look dope as hell and have 12 ms response time. i'm honestly not sure which one to pick and i'm questioning just sticking with my old 1600x900 22" monitor i found somewhere.

Does the bezel on this one look too big? This one is $80 right now with a promo code.

It looks alright although it doesn't have an HDMI port if you need one. And I forgot to put it in my last comment but you could reuse your old monitor as a second monitor if you want to.

That's a good idea yeah, does the GTX1060 out of the box come with a cable that supports that monitor?

Also some websites say that it has a 18 ms response time, how much of that is true?

It depends on what websites say that. The GTX 1060 does have a DVI port like the monitor does. I think I read that the monitor doesn't come with the cable, but a DVI cable is only like 6 dollars and your old monitor probably uses the same cable.

Isn't DVI restricted to 30fps 1080p or something like that?

DVI supports at least 60fps (60hz) on monitors which is what your monitor goes up to. DVI also supports up to 144hz but you need a different cable and a more expensive monitor.
