He already has 16gb of drr3 memory. He owns a gtx 960. Has a 500 watt power-supply. This is what he wants and would like to stream league, csgo, overwatch and possibly h1z1. I recommended a new pc because he has a budget of 1000 dollars but he wants a new monitor.

You do not need that cooler at all

just upgrade to a skylake i7 6700, and get just a cheaper free-sync display with the same specs mostly for whenever he upgrades, because a G-sync display isn't worth spending more on, you could also just use shadowplay to casually stream

Which PSU? 500W is enough, just want to check its a decent one. You dont need an AIO with a locked CPU, they already come with a stock cooler which will be fine.
