Evening everyone,

I recently built a PC and at the time purchased an 8GB RAM kit. Couple days ago I found a guy who selling a 16GB kit of the same RAM for a good price so I bought it off of him. However, when installed the new 16GB kit along with the existing 8GB kit, my computer enters a continual reboot cycle and I cant even access the BIOS. Below is the build I have;

CPU - i5 6500 (stock cooler)

GPU - MSI Gaming X RX480 4GB

MOBO - Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3

PSU - EVGA 500W White - Bronze certified

HDD - WD Blue 1TB

SSD - SanDisk 220GB

The 8GB of RAM I had before was;

2 x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400MHz 16-16-16-39 1.2V

The 16GB I added;

2 x 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400MHz 16-16-16-39 1.2V

When all 4 RAM sticks are installed the computer will continually reboot as mentioned above.

If I have just the 2 4GB modules in it works fine, as with when I have just the 2 8GB modules in, but not when both are inserted.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as it would be annoying if I couldn't get the 4 stick configuration to work after having spent the money on it.

Thanks for your time
