galaxy tab 3 in boot loop

i'm the "tech guy" in my family and my grandmother has a galaxy tab 3, which one day just went into a boot loop, the issue here is that it has pictures on it that haven't been backed up. every time she turns it on, it just reboots over and over again. i can get to android recovery, i tried wiping the cache, that didn't work. we don't want to have to reset it.
