It's like asking what the best tooth paste is

Any of them, really. There's only a few degrees difference between the best and the worst. There are some liquid metal ones that will perform better than most, but I wouldn't advise using them.

Because they're extremely conductive. If you spill any on components (can happen without you noticing) it can short them out and end up in dead parts.
