I'm having a hard time figuring out, why would all of these builds cost nearly $2K, when all parts combined aren't even worth $2K.

"worth: is a personal opinion,If I was still working, dropping 5G's into a build was nothing.

For $6 more, far better quality of parts.

Better be worth 5G of parts, not just bunch of stuffs thrown in for the sake of saying my build cost 5G, when some one can say, I got my for 1.5G and it runs circles around your setup.

Not 100% sure, but I remember reading that the Home version is very restrictive as to what you can do,so Pro would be the only one to use.

Pro is really not needed for a gamer/average user. Home is fine

So I did two options, one is the enthusiast bang for the buck (Best parts around but not overkill) and the other is the max budget overkill one. Did color themes you can see but just random cause you didn't mention one.
