Hi guys!

In the end of November I'm going attend my first Dreamhack as a visitor and as someone who have worked Security there before I know that there's plenty of thefts each year, hardware theft is small compared to peripherals but there's still a chance of theft and I'd like to avoid it as much as possible.

I have a BitFenix Prodigy case that doesn't have any holes or loops to secure the side doors with a small padlock or something similar. I read that someone suggested on the BitFenix Forum that you could use a more rare screw to replace the thumbscrews but I'd prefer an actual lock.

Does any of you guys have any tips on how to secure the case doors to avoid theft?

They're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinkin' alone...

Mod your case and install small locks?

I think Linus unboxed a case with a locking side panel. Can't remember which one though...

I would suggest 1 way screws.

those can only be screwed in with a screwdriver but you can t remove them with that tool.

So guys trying to steal them will need the special remover to get in your case. That involves carrying power tools at a lan event stealthily...

or you could rivet the thing. if you were planning installing locking tabs on drilling the rivets/1 way screws one your done is no big deal.

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.
