Hi i tried to disable Window firewall but it would not let me. I disabled it and 10 seconds later it had turned on itself???

Long story short i have a problem with the security popups telling me that the firewall blocket a program and i need to accept it. This happens everytime i open a program like google chrome for example.

Really annoying.

Any solutions?

I have run into this before. The windows firewall runs on three profiles (Home, Work, Public). So if you disable firewall for home, it will still work if you are connected to a network that has been classified as work or public. So, you can disable the firewall for all three profiles, or you can just figure out which profile your computer is using for that network.

The best solution would be to create a specific rule that only allows the specific connection you are trying to make work, instead of opening the firewall up completely. You can make a single rule apply to all firewall profiles.

BTW, my preferred method of opening firewall settings is through the admin command prompt, just type "secpol" and it will take you straight there.
