Hey guys

My devastator II combo just arrived and I hate it. The keys are like 1cm tall, it feels like I'm writing on a typewriter and the mouse doesn't really fit my hand. I can't return it cause i damaged the box too which sucks but anyway I'm looking for a new keyboard & mouse. I'm not looking for a mechanical keyboard because I don't like the noise & cost of them. I want something with small keys kinda like the razer deathstalker but cheaper and a mouse that fits good in the hand and is good for gaming & obviously the cheaper the better.

Do you have any recommendations?

Also my case is orange so anything that goes with that would be a bonus.

Logitech G502 (Proteus Core) for the mouse

And i know you said you hate Mechanical keys BUT Cherry MX Brown are almost 100% silent and feel amazing for typing and gaming.

This one is really cheap and very nice to type on

This is the only image i could find that's why there is Chinese down the bottom xD but they are 3mm at the top and 5mm at the bottom

Looks like the same key height as my Logitech k120 work one :) Are there any that are smaller like razers keys, i find those the easiest to type on but razer overprices like apple does

Cherry MX Red Silents are nice. I have the Corsair RGB strafe, its a great keyboard, very quiet but very responsive! Plus corsair seems to have great customer service and very reputable products

He isn't look to spend $140 on a keyboard haha.

This keyboard is one of the cheapest "Premium" keyboards I could find and it's RGB https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Keyboard-Programmable-Multicolor-CH-9000223-NA/dp/B014W1YU6M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475852370&sr=8-1&keywords=k40+keyboard

This mouse is from a good brand is very light weight. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-KATAR-Gaming-Mouse-Backlit/dp/B016IAM864/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475852309&sr=8-1&keywords=katar

It's also on sale right now (Usually $30-$40)

This is going to sound stupid but do you have any recommendations with smaller keys? I'm use to laptop keyboards and my work keyboard which both have smaller keys so I find them far easier to type on. Bigger keys i end up hitting every single button lol

Did you say you have a K120 already? If so this board should have similar keys. Anyways it wouldn't hurt to learn mechanical typing if it will be better in the end.

Yeah the work keyboards the k120. The keys on this one look a bit bigger. I brought a devastator II from coolermaster since it was a bundle but yeah typing on it is terrible.

You could go into a local tech center and try out mechanical keyboards and see what you like.
