Problems remembering what I Read

Anyone else have a problem were when they read a book or something else, they forget instantly what they just read. Like I would read a page then after, I would forget what that page was about. When it comes to so in English class i always fail my quiz no matter how hard i try its always been this way, I forget what i read. Or like when the teacher gave us something to read then after they tell us to talk about it. But i don't know what to say cause i have forgot what i just read.

I have trouble remembering things, including things that I've read. But sometimes I'll recall things vividly, but now someone I know claims I only remember what I want to remember - sure, whatever.

When someone says i only remember what i want to remember. I dont think that is true cause i forget things that i want to hear about or like doing
