I live in a third world country and came to a decision to change my accent, hopefully I'm still young enough (21) to try and turn it into my native accent by the age of 30 or so).Reason behind is that my country doesn't really offer much in terms of what I'd like to do in life so I'll most likely work abroad. I wanted to have an accent to make it easier for me to make conversation with the locals.

Here are my choices:

1. American (I like it since it's very clear and easy to understand, as far as basic and every day use goes, I have no qualms with this).

2. Australian (It has good diction while still retaining understandability, my top choice so far).

3. English (I think this is the most attractive accent although I don't know if this is just me but I find it kinda hard to comprehend sometimes, it's weird, I like hearing it but I imagine hearing it on a daily basis to be somewhat annoying, it's like their nose is clogged or they're out of breath).

4. Irish (I love this lol I love hearing irish interviews although I find them very hard to imitate).

How about you guys, what accent would you prefer to hear?
