Hey guys, recently got a great deal on Craigslist and found a pretty nice case to upgrade my rig into.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, I'd say the only downside is it runs a bit warmer in this case than it did in my old case.

I had the Rad on top of my old case Push/Pulling hot air out, and in this I have it in the front Push/Pulling air in, so that's probably the reason it runs warmer.

I did a little bit of modifying of the case so I could do Push/Pull on the Rad. Punctured some holes through the dust filter for the screws. Also had to cut some plastic off the dust filter's frame.

The front plate seems to be snug against the fans, but I believe there is just enough room for air to flow in. The front plate doesn't touch the fan, but yea, it's close. :D

Is it advisable to have fans pushing air through your cpu rad as well as pulling it through?? Always wondered this when I installed mine but obviously they only give you fans to suck the air through with and not push..

I'd say if you only have 2 fans, it's better to Push air through the Rad, if you have 4, you might as well do Push/Pull.

I thought that when setting it up but the manual and all the vids I found had it drawing air through it rather than pushing through it

thought it was very odd :/

are those front push fans bolted through the filter element?

Yes. I had to do a slight modification to make it work. If you're interested I can try to get pictures.
