Disk partition extending local disk D.

Hi Please help me. My local disk is running out of space. I have attached picture if my disks. local disk is nearly full its red. i have disk D with 700GB i want to move few GBs to local disk but everytime i extend it, it wont Unallocate space. Just becomes extended partition of disk D(free space or new vol). I tried to reformat Disk D gives me error. Attached picture of Error too,.

Please help.
