Is this fan enough?

I ordered parts for a new build a few days ago and just now realized my i5 6600k does not come with a stock fan. I also ordered a cooler master hyper 212 evo would that be enough to keep or is there something else you would recommend.

Assuming you don't plan on doing any crazy overclocks that will just fine, certainly better than an intel stock cooler.

Jup. Should do the trick, but it's no super good cooler for high OC's. Check if the Scythe Fuma is able to fit your case (159mm coolerheight). One of the best aircoolers for a still decent not Noctua price that performs in league with them and average liquid coolers.

 

The fan is part of the cooler btw So your post should be CPU cooler instead of fan.

If you can change the order, a Deepcool Gammaxx 400 would be a better option. Cheaper, quieter, performs a little better. It's still in the 212's class, so no crazy overclocks.
