Thrustmaster Joystick not working correctly

I have a http://www.thrustmaster.com/products/usb-joystick Yeah I know it's a cheap piece of plastic but still it gets the job done,or should I say got.

Today I plugged it in after a couple of months hoping to have a nice time flying around.I cleaned,lubricated and configured it and in the control panel when i test it,it works fine.But while X-plane 10 was downloading in the background.I wanted to test it out so I loaded up the only game I had which came close to a flight simulator.Simple planes,it did not work.The issue it had is that the X and Y axis are turned all the way in one direction and when I move it in the opp direction I just end up straightening it.Hope you understand what I am saying here.I thought maybe it's the game's fault so I tested an online sim by the name of GEF,the same exact problem happened.Then I recalibrated it and again it works perfectly well in the control panel tester but not in games.I switched from multiple USB ports,both 2 and 3 but still nothing.Hope you guys can solve my problem and make my day better.

It comes with a driver CD!

Time to dig up my stuff....for a long time..........will probably take a few hours..........because I am an unorganised piece of shit.

Try gping to device manager, find it, right click and click "update driver"

Well the only thing I think that is left to do is to talk to the support or something or their website.
