Hiberfil.sys issue

Hi all,

 

my my issue is the following:

>96 GB RAM in my pc

>hiberfil.sys can only be set to 50% of RAM, so takes up 48 GB of ssd space

>only solution is to disable it, but that also disables fast boot

 

Is there any way to set it to like 10-20% of total RAM? I'd like to keep fast boot but don't wanna give up all that space.

disable it and just use Sleep instead of shutting the computer off.

Put it on your storage HDD?

I used Symlink Creator.

I think in an admin cmd < powercfg -h -size (%) > works. at least it did in w7 if i remember correctly.

It does work, but only on a 50-100 range. Else it gives an error.

That would be pointless I think. It would increase boot and shutdown times.
