When I booted up my PC earlier, it said that Windows was updating and then my computer froze, even though it said that I should not shut down my PC, I did it anyways and now my computer is stuck on "Repairing disk errors. This may take over an hour to complete." If anybody could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Often times, when installing large updates, the system may appear frozen but in fact it is not. Shutting down a system during the update process is dangerous because it can corrupt vital system files your OS needs to function properly.

I will try to help you, though.

First, what operating system are you currently running?

It may be easier for you to use the system recovery option. Typically, Windows 10 automatically creates a recovery partition in the event of the system becoming unstable. Try going into system recovery. Do a system restore back to a working restore point. If you can't, then restore to factory settings

How exactly would I go into system recovery?

When your system is booting there are several options on the logo screen such as access the bios, etc. There should be a system recovery option on the right. I can't tell you which button it is because sometimes its different, but try F11

Okay, I'm currently like three hours into the "repair" should I try tomorrow or just reboot now?

Try it now. If its been on that screen for 3 hours its probably stuck. Go ahead and try to recover your system now. Doing a full restore will reinstall your operating system and give you a fresh start, correcting any errors that might have occurred.

I can't find what button the recovery mode is lol, I know BIOS is F2 and I think boot manager is F8

Try F11. If thats not it, google your PC manufacture's system recovery, it will tell you how to access it.

Sadly, no, but at this point I'd be fine with a factory reset but I don't know how to get to there.

When you shutdown your system manually, you should get the option to boot windows normally or recovery mode. Go into recovery mode and try to do a system restore

When, I shutdown manually, the computer just shuts down and when I turn it back on the only thing it shows is F2 for Bios and if you ignore it, if just goes back to the repairing thing

The only option I can really give you, is to reinstall Windows. If you have another PC, download the Windows 10 ISO, burn it, and install a fresh OS.

You seem to have corrupt the system severely, and the only real way to repair it is to reinstall with a factory image.

Do you think booing from another SSD would do anything?
