Hey guys. So totaly new here.
This is it building my first water cooled pc.
Water cooling on cpu and both gpus.
intel i7 6800k
And 2x gtx1080.

Do I need more than 1rad? Is my question. What would be my max size in a In Win 805c case.
And do I need a normal fan in the back to drag warm air out. or is there no need? :o

THanks all!

whats the minimum is, is 120mm of rad space per part, so a 360 mm should be enough, but i personally would go with 2 240mm radiators.

and no need on the fans.

1 rad might be fine, but it isn't optimal. You might want to consider putting a 280 in the front and a 140 in the back. So then you wouldn't have a "normal" fan in the back, but a rad! :D I answered both your questions at once.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

That's what I thought, A 120 in the back (140 is too big) for the cpu and a 280 in the front for my 2 gpus.
New question then. Do I need 1 pump and 1 Reservoir for each rad? :o

Have you already purchased the case?  If not, don't.

You are asking too much of a 280mm and 120mm rad.  You'll end up running those fans at max all the time just to cool that rig marginally.

Consider getting a case that will allow a 240mm or more for the CPU, and 360mm to 480mm for the GPUs as a minimum.  Run it as one loop as that will increase the overall efficiency of the 240 + 360 or 480.

Well in this case (pun intended :D) you'll need to work with what you've got.  You're just going to need to be realistic and expect higher fan speeds and water temps, which means higher CPU and GPU temps.  Will it work, yes, but it won't work optimally.

What do you see as high speed 800+? 1200+? or 1500?

If you want do it that way yes, you will need one pump and res for each rad. However, you could also run the GPUs and CPU in the same loop (which is more common) so both rads would be connected. Temps might be a tiny bit higher (though the difference might be quite small) but you'll save some space and money (I'm not even sure if you can fit two reservoirs in that case :D).

On an un-related note, this is my 2000th post!
