Hi, I'm looking to build a pc during the deals during this Black Friday.I already have a pc from previous years and want to take this chance to upgrade it (more like taking some things from my old pc and put it into this one) I have a 4k monitor and a second 1080p monitor and would like to game at close to max settings at 4k. I might also do some streaming and light content creation. I also already have 1 sdd and 2hard drives from my current pc so that wouldn't be a problem. Here is my build:

I would add a 2TB or larger HDD for storage of videos that you may want to access later.

1. If you are using the enthusiast platform, get quad channel ram (i.e. 4x8GB or 8x4GB). That is one of the advantages of the high end desktop processors so definitely make use of it.

2. Also, the case seems pretty expensive for only a mid-tower. You could easily get a full tower for that price, unless youre getting it cause you like the color or something.

3. Expect the 1080 Ti to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $800-900 (if there is one)

4. I have the CPU, cooler, and PSU. Definitely recommend

5. the GTX 1080 will push out 60 FPS at max/near max settings on all titles out there rn. If you get one with a good aftermarket cooler you can OC it and get 60 fps no problem

Thank you for the replies. I already have a nother 250gb ssd, a 1 tb hdd and a 3 tb hdd, so storage shouldn't be a problem. I personally liked how the case looks and I need to fit it under my desk which currently kinda fits a h440, so I wanted to get it that sized. But what are the benefits for having a larger case? Better airflow? I'm fine with paying 100 more for the 1080ti so i dont have to upgrade as soon. I'll definitely try and get quad channel ram like you suggested. Thanks!

Is the H100i not enough for cooling that cpu?

A 240mm will cool it but you can usually get a bigger 280mm for not much more. For an extra $16 you can get the NZXT Kraken X61. I have seen it cheaper though so maybe keep an eye on prices if not buying straight away. There are also the Corsair 280mm coolers as well.

Ok, I will keep an eye out for 280mms, thank you for the suggestions. And is the 6800k much better than the 5820k? I would rather spend that money on a better looking case if it isn't.

The 6800K is probably about 5% - 10% faster than the 5820K as is the norm with Intel. The 5820K will still do fine if you want to save the money.
