I need help with W8.1

I just installed W8.1 and got two issues:

1. when i open any software (crome, AE,...Etc) 3D vision turns on, and i cant get it off, i even disabled 3D from nVidia controll panel

2. Second issue is that I had only 15GB of free space in my SSD's and now i got 76GB of free space, so i am worried that i have missing files. (did any of you had this issue)?

Before you do ANYTHING you better make sure that your stuff is still there on another partition (which I don't think it is)

 

go download and install recovery software onto a different hard drive, you can probably recover a majority of the data if you haven't done much writing and garbage collection hasn't kicked in yet.

Wll there is that thing where that windows reads 1024mb as 1 gb and that might have been fixed (i don't think it's that it just made the storage seem like less) but that seems like a bit to much of a change. So what helping said might be a good thing.

Thanks, i just opened almost every program and i even checked that all of my .gif's are there and everything worked fine.

For Nvidia, I recommend to click on "Advanced" in the setup, and simply uncheck the Nvidia 3D stuff. I mean why install something you simply don't have?If you do have, and want to use it now, then you'll have to wait for new drivers I am afraid, as Windows 8.1 drivers are new.

Try to reinstall drivers, because atleast in my case windows changed my AMD drivers to WDDM1.3 or 1.4 drivers after updating to 8.1 so give it a try? And i had also lost about 10gb of stuff after installing 8.1 but nothing seems to have been deleted...
