crossfire issue

windows 8, 2 X r9-280x, catalyst 13.11

when i first downloaded catalyst 13.11 (my first one, its a new build) it detected my 2 gpus and i enabled crossfire. However after monitoring temps in msi afterburner after some gaming i saw gpu 2 temp and usage didnt change at all so i checked in catalyst and it said my x-fire bridge is not properly attached, ive changed my bridge and the problem remains, any fixes?

thanks.

Update to windows 8.1 or try windows 7, the drivers are in beta right now so there are some bugs just wait for proper drivers

You need to DISABLE UPLS ONLY, no driver changes or anything like that...

MSI afterburner has it in options, if not you have to google and find the registry values to change to 0

You can Google how to do this.

It will stop the 2nd GPU getting stuck at 0% and not being used.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
