TV vs projector

Should I get a TV or a projector for my PS4/PC? I would put it above my main monitor at a angle if it were a TV.

So whats better for a monitor/gaming thing

 

Side note, What thing would you recommend (like model number)

It would need to be 720p minimum, and would preferably have 1 HDMI port (For the PS4) and 1 DVI Port (for the PC if possible. If not, 2 HDMI total), and be able to be around 45+ inches (Preferably). Also pretty cheap ($100-$500 preferably) . Wouldn't need speakers. Also needs to be wall mountable or ceiling mountable

Projector needs a perfect dark enviroment. A small light still not make gaming experience great. I owned a projector before and I can tell that

Also you need to adjust projector to a perfect angle to make the image center

Eh i suck enough on PS4 that display lag won't actually matter probably, and the only PC gaming i might do on the TV/ projector would be minecraft or something
