transfering windows 10 activation

so today i'm gonna buy my new mobo and cpu.

i had a nice and legally activated windows 10 install on my old stuff and i am not gonna buy windows anymore.

Now i'm wondering if i could use my old activation on my new stuff.

Do you have the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and a Microsoft email account associated with it? If so, the key is now tied to your Microsoft account so you can swap the hardware without issue.
