Hey all, saw a review by hardware canucks of the @ASRockInfo Deskmini 110 where they changed out the PC, but I can't seem to find the case anywhere and I was wondering if anyone knows if this is even available yet.

This is the link for the item http://www.asrock.com/nettop/intel/deskmini 110 Series/#About

Side note, would people suggest building a Mini ITX build for a media center, or Mini STX? I really don't wanna spend more than like $200 which is why the ASRock deskmini caught my eye...

I want to use this primarily for Kodi, however mild gaming isn't completely out of the question, and that has 2 drive bays so a bit of storage isn't out of the question too. I relaly don't want to buy one of those pre-made kodi boxes, I like building :)

@SCGazelle Ah right my bad, I saw that, but 2 things with that. I'm in Canada, and Newegg.ca doesn't have it :( and 2, that doesn't have options to customize, i3, i5, i7, RAM amount, so on and so forth. Unless I'm totally missing something.

It is a barebones system, so you have to put in a cpu, storage and ram yourself. It just includes a case, motherboard, and powersupply

Using Kodi? Could also buy a 35$ Raspberry Pi 3.

Rpi 3 35$

32GB Micro Sd card - 15$

OSMC (OS)- Free

@ZeusXI I had considered that, however I've read that setting up the Pi is a pain in the ass. I have absolutely no experience with them either :(

Actually, its really depends on which OS you use. Raspbian, is more of the python based bit, and OSMC you just write to a microSD, plug in, and you can control with your phone once you go trhough the process of setting up your wifi (which is easy). But if you want another options, Upboard and Lattepanda run windows 10 on them (can either put it on yourself, or have it pre-installed, for about 100-130$USD. Those might be easier to navigate, Plus they run intel and have good movie theater from what I know. Can run VLC on them, and plug in a harddrive to play movies off of :) or an external CD drive for dvds
