When you have only 1 or 2 in stock, you can charge whatever you want. If people are stupid enough to pay that much for it, then they're the ones to blame for this kind of pricing.

Nobody is forcing anybody to pay 2000$ for a 1080. OutletPC is just shooting themselves in the foot.

why would they even do that????

because they can? Get one fool to buy one at 2000$, make the same profit as if you sold 20 cards.

It's not ASUS who set the price here, it's OutletPC, one of the many vendors on Newegg.

Its out for me.

What was it a Strix 1080 for 2k?

Buy 2 1080s and a 1070 for 2k. Thats what happens when some asshole thinks the supply is screwed up.

No one should have to pay demand prices for them. If you did you are apart of the problem.

Just play the stock game like I did. Auto notify for stock, set email alerts on your phone for newegg, amazon and where ever else. Save bookmark for your card you want. Set up 1 click pay in sites that allow it, if not save card info on site.

Get email, open bookmark and 1 click pay and be done. Then you get your card.

Worked for my Pascal purchases.
