They where the old line of samsung. Havn't seen many issues with them, but you should compare it to a similar size SSD like the newer and most likely better performing samsung 750. If that difference isn't to big, I would go with the 750. For the performance, they where good performing SSD back then. So allthough newer perform better, you overall won't notice many difference in daily use I think.

Nah, just get an 850 EVO for 20$ more - it's a LOOOOT better.

i usually avoid used/refurbished for all types of storage drives (disc drives, tape drives dont matter but the tapes themselves do). If you want to buy 2nd hand SSD make sure to find its write count as that is very important in its life span. an SSD that is being sold as 2nd hand that was used as cache is a bad idea.
