objective 2 headphone amp?

hey guys! i was just wondering if i should go for this amp or maybe hold out and get the objective 2 with dac. i saw on massdrop for 80 bucks for the standard edition and 15 more for the desktop edition. the reason i ask if i should get one with dac is because i know that my motherboard comes with a dac and i've heard good things, but i dont have an amp for my headphones so i thought if im going to an amp why not go for one that has a potentially better one (im still a newb in the audiophile scene). BTW i have a maximus viii formula

You still don't need the o2, and if you still want to upgrade I would save money and get a better headphone.

Depends on your budget, sound signature, and closed/open? Personally, I'd wait and see how the new monoprice ortho headphones perform.
