Will I be able to use any of these to run simultaneously on my laptop and a new desktop?

short answer - no

long answer - no

you can buy W10 directly from MS web store with a few clicks; you just need a 8GB+ USB thumb drive and patience

if the licence you have is retail, yes you can move it

but if it's OEM ... no

Thanks! Tbh I don't really know which one of those is mine. The OS came with the laptop when I bought it. Is it a retail version then? Sorry for sounding a little stupid there. It's probably obvious, but I do not really know these words. (english is not my first language)

to the contrary, it's 99.99% OEM

you can check it: open a cmd window and type in

slmgr.vbs /dlv

a new window will pop up and inside it look at Description and Product Key Channel

I did it, and it said retail. I'm confused now. But that means, I would be able to transfer it?

For this case, I assume I would have to install windows on the new pc, activate it there, and after that, the windows on my laptop would change to the 'free' version?

it's better to not use the laptop on-line with same licence

if MS sees both active it might deactivate both and leave you with your thumb up the rear end
