Monitoring network

Propphet
Go to solution Solved by jared404,

I would use pfsense. You can also just put a computer between your lan and isp and use wireshark. I recommend a 2ghz dual core with 4gb of ram or more for pfsense.

So, i wanna monitor my network, what i mean with that is monitoring Down and upload data, something like Pfsense where you can see real time bandwidth usage but also all incomming ips and other.

Is pfsense the best program to use for this on an pc with multiple network ports or are there better programs or software.

Also, whats the minimum pc specs to run an pfsense box for full gigabit connection to isp because i got fully gigabit ethernet.
