I know you dont want to overclock yet, but are you going to buy another motherboard to do so? Its just a massive waste of money. Do you have to buy from this website? There are other online stores in AUS that are cheaper (PC Case Gear). I would also add an SSD.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

PSU is very mediocre , get an EVGA G2 or Corsair RMi/ RMx instead.

The SSD is mediocre aswell, get a Kingston UV400 or ADATA SP550 or Samsung 850evo instead (preferably 240GB or more).

A Z170 motherboard is recommended, you have more features, it has a higher resale value and you can OC in the future if you change your mind.

Thanks :D

1.  You have an unlocked CPU(6700K) with a H170 motherboard.  You will not be able to step up the multiplier.

2.  That 120GB SSD is not a good decision, go 240GB+.  Larger capacities have better performance over time, and last longer.

3.  You have a really crappy PSU.

4.  The P400 only comes with a rear exhaust (140mm), you should add at least one more 140mm in the front, preferably two.

For suck build go with a higher tier psu. 120GB SSD is not enough.

- The CS is fine it's just below the RM

- 120GB is enough, I'm running off a single 120GB SSD right now xD But 240GB is the sweet spot.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Why?

Why the $260 motherboard?

Why the h100i?

Why the 480GB SSD?

Why the 750W Plat PSU?

Why is it in USD?

Ty All! Is pc Case Gear Really Cheaper? It Seems More Expensive

PCCG is where I buy most of my new PC parts, I bought my SSD off ebay since it was very cheap and I bought my LTT fans off PLE they had the exclusivity deal.

Gorgeous. People blame me for a bad cooler when I plan my all blue build. Look at those LED

Sarcasm?

This thing performs like a NH-U12S, and you can get a better fan for it and still pay less than any other CPU Cooler in that performance range will cost.

My personal favourite fan to suggest is the fractal Venturi HP12 PWM

No, no sarcasm because the build plan includes something like a 6800k 64gigs of ram and 1080 in SLI

Although if I was gonna make an all blue build, first off I would use white LEDs and second off I would get a Dark Rock Pro 3 then paint the top sheet of metal blue. Instant orgasm
