Recent Good RTS Games

Hello, I got some spare cash recently and I was wondering if there were any new RTS games. I was a giant fan of the Command and Conquer series back in the day and I was thinking have there been any games like that recently?

I am not an expert on RTS games, but i believe Ashes of the Singularity just recently came out.

The obvious recommendation is starcraft 2, it's still quite popular and gets constant updates. It's not quite like command and conquer, but the core ideas are similar. There are also fairly recent command and conquer games, although I don't know how many people still play them.

I never got to play too much of it but as a concept I liked Grey Goo. I should probably go try it again some day.

I got that one but I find that there are just too many DLCs for my taste. They are literally asking you to buy another game every DLC that comes out but it is still free so I guess its ok.

Legacy of the void is standalone, and there will be no further multiplayer dlcs (at least so they say). It may be a good time to get back in it.

I've been borderline addicted to that game for 3 years, I stopped playing it last year because I needed to focus on exams. It's fun and competitive, which is all I ask of a multiplayer game.

Definitely LOTV or Act Of Aggression maybe since you prefer C&C style but wait for massive discount.
