Frame rate drops BF4

I just got a new computer with a

amd fx 8350

Msi gtx 1060

my brother bought battlefield 4 on his PC so i logged into his account downloaded it and tried to play, every 1 - 2 minutes I get frame rate drops too about 10 frames. My gpu is brand new and my cpu is about 5 months old. Please help.

CPU bottleneck anyone? Temperature on both components? What do others think?

CPU should be fine but the per core performance is still ehh...

What PSU @Patrick molloy? What temps is your GPU reaching?

Sounds like a heat problem on either GPU or CPU, most likely CPU.. so Its trotteling, thats why you get the frame drop. I would do a Prime 94 test for your cpu, and firestrike or something like that for your gpu. Post the temps here, and we will see if that is the problem

Or maby you have forgot to to use the 8 pin power connection, usually located on the top or the bottom of the motherboard? if u havvent plugged in that one the PCI express slot / CPU slot, dont get enough power under load.

My cpu temp looks fine and I'm having no trouble playing campaign.

I turned and cool and quiet off and removed all malware from my computer.

but still getting fps drop

do u have a spare PSU to swap over? might be the PSU that dossent give your hardware components sufficient juice. like not a stable enough current. How much ram do you have? maby your ram fills up and dossent clear itself fast enough.

I still would like to see the idle and stresstest temps for your CPU and GPU tho

I've got 16gb of ram and I don't think there's anything wrong with the power supply.

I just did some tests on my cpu and gpu and it turns out my when my frames drop my cpu's temps go from 50 degrees to 30 degrees

 Sounds like your psu dont give your hardware components sufficient juice. like not a stable enough current. do u have a spare one or can borrow a spare one to test?

It's a evga 750w 80+ gold certified

depends rly on how old it is but the waranty should cover it yes

How do I prove to the manufactures that it's faulty?

Just tell them what you told me, that u get sudden fps drop, and when that happens the temp on the cpu rappedly drop.. its a common psu problem, think you just have gotten a faulty unit

And your positive it's the psu? Others are saying I need to re apply my cpu cooler
