Homegroup remote desktop

Is there any software where I can control the desktop from one computer using another that uses the home network. I have Home Premium so I can't use Window's remote desktop. There is software but all I see is that it lags when moving things, etc. Isn't there something where there would be no lag and I can copy files from one computer to another? Something that isn't a trial version. I have already tried TeamViewer.

Just about any remote software you would find would lag. There is no way from getting away from that.

Since you're using Home Premium, you can use the built in but you can ONLY connect to another computer, not host your computer and use the built in to connect to your computer.

Teamviewer would have to be your best option for remote, file transfer, and file transfer without remote

Try using realvnc http://www.realvnc.com/ 

 

That should work for you. Its almost like remote desktop but better in a way.
