Projector not detecting input

I tried to connect my PC to my projector yet im detecting any imput in it.

I know that the projector or the HDMI cable are not the problem because when I connect my PS4 to the projector using the same cable it is detected immediatly.

I did this a few months ago and it worked without issues.

I am running the latest driver (16.9.1) on my R9 390.

Note that I am not using the projector as a secondary screen, but plugged out my main monitor and plugged in the projector in its stead.

Not sure how to fix this, thanks for any advice in advance

Tried that and went through all the different settings and still did nothing.

Go to your display settings (If you are on Windows) and make sure it sees the projector and its resolution and is set to either duplicate the image, extend the displays or only show on the projector.

Hey everyone, the issue was that there was a loose connection in the cable, so it had to be held in a specific spot.
