Gpu for x4 860k

I still have an old gpu(gt 630) and i want to upgrade to a better gpu.

I have a x4 860k oc 4ghz, coolermaster hyper 212x, fm2a88x extreme4+, 8gb ram.

What is the best gpu or a good one that can run the latest games and is compatible with my stuff?

Radeon RX 470 is the best you should get for that CPU.

I'd say RX 470 if you can find one, or a 380x. Your CPU is still a huge limiting factor though and will limit your fps in a lot of games.

That depends on the game. I've had an Athlon X4 750K @4,5gHz, when I paired it with an OC'd GTX 970 the only game it was limiting it at the time was The Witcher 3, in other games the combo ran really good. But it was by quite a bit in some TW3, so RX 470 is a few % slower than a 970, making it the top choice for the Athlon considering that the 860K is slightly faster than the 750K.

A lot of games will run fine, and won't be bottlenecked by that CPU at all.

 

I guess I should say any games that have a moderate amount of physics action might see some slowdown with that CPU. It's not going to be to bad, but your next upgrade, if you get a 470, should be a CPU.

Too powerful for that CPU and will bottleneck.
