i think i will just do a reinstall will that wipe the drives automaticly

Boot the usb drive, select install windows. Chose the SSD to install it on, there should be an option to erase. (delete all partitions)

Then continue the install. You can wipe the HDD later in by using dskmgmt. BE CAREFUL. DO NOT WIPE THE HDD.

I have just cloned my hdd to my new ssd to replace it as a boot drive and it has already been pointed out that I may not have made a bootable clone however now I cannot even use my hdd as it comes up with the same message (Reboot and Select proper Boot device) as the ssd and now neither will show in boot prioritys on the bios plese help me and thank you in advance

Is there anything on your the drives you need? Anything you do not want to lose?

I would rather keep it but it doesn't bother me if I have to wipe it

Then wipe the SSD, and clean reinstall windows (don't clone). And with any luck you may be able to retrieve some files from the HDD. If you are doing a dual drive system (SSD for os and software + HDD for mass storage), then just copy as stuff you prefer to keep on the SSD. Wipe the HDD (to remove the OS and OS partitions, just wipe it). and then put back the files you saved on the SSD back on HDD if you desire.

Do you have a USB install media or disk?

If you have windows installation media you could try reanimating your system. Do you have one?

That is a good idea, but it isn't really likely to work. I also don't recommend cloning systems. It causes problems. I once cloned my 850 Evo and when I should of gotten 525+ mbs, I was only getting 100mbs.

its risky to do those clone transfers. They don't always go well. Just reload windows 10 or whatever operating system you use on the computer. You can download the newest windows 10 at https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

out of intrest why should i not wipe the hdd and i canot find the download link for win 10

If you didn't remove your HDD partitions you can then still access all of the stuff on it from a clean installation of windows on your SSD.
