Mac server not allowing automatic login from windows 7

I am having a issue that with my windows renderfarm machines connecting to the Mac server.

 

I setup a .bat with a automatic login sequence that worked fine before, now that the server has been updated to the latest mac OS, it refuses auto connections... BUT i can log in normally from the machine to the mac server, using the same username and password that i have set for the automatic login.

 

there was a issue before where i had to remove the LmCompatibilityLevel line from the registry of the windows machines trying to connect to the mac server.

 

any thoughts?
