My desktop is connected to my 100mbps wifi from optimum using an oldish Netgear adapter and it works fine most of the time, besides at random moments, all of a sudden my pc will lose connection to the server I'm playing on and discord will disconnect, even though it still says I'm connected and I have internet until like 5 minutes later it says 'limited access'  or 'no internet'. I will tell anyone exact specs.

(I am using Bitdefender Box, but it doesnt seem to be the problem)

(also is through optimum and an Arris Router and a Linksys 450mbps Dual band router.)

I have a netgear n150. it used to drop out sometimes under a fair bit of use. try factory reset it using a pen.

Its not that because I can just hop onto my slower 5ghz (because of how far away from the router I am) and continue playing for the time being.

Ok im back. It looks like its something with the DNS connection. Restarting the router (and PC if necessary) should fix it. If not you should contact your network provider.
