MCEdit for Terraria?

Me and my buddy have played Terraria a lot in the past few months (some say we're addicted) but we stopped a few weeks ago because we were kinda sick of our world but we didn't want to restart from scratch. There was a new update that came out recently with a lot of changes (http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/10/02/terraria-1-2-update-released-tweaks-almost-every-part-of-the-game/) and we definitely want to start on this world, but we don't want to start over. Is there like an MCEdit kind of software but instead of Minecraft it's for Terraria? Because we have a shit ton of chests and it would take way long to transfer everything, and we want to keep our house.

You mean item editor? There is one of them http://terrariviewer.codeplex.com/releases/view/82191 . Haven't tried it myself, but it should work.

No I mean something where you can edit the world and copy/paste etc. And I found something with a quick google search  :angry:  it's called T Edit
