Hi all! new to the fourm.

I am planning on building a new all white or as white as i can get it build. I currently own an NZXT s430 white case and a 650 watt EVGA power supply. This is where the hard part comes in. I am doing this on a pretty tight budget. about $700 U.S. Here is what I'm currently thinking.

MSI Krait MOBO

enermax white cpu cooler

corsair makes some nice white led fans at decent prices

MSI armour gtx 1060 (not planning on going outside of 1080p for awhile)

hyper x fury ram white

240 gig SSD and a 1TB storage drive

As for the processor, this where i need the most advice/help I know that amd is supposed to be releasing the zen stuff soon. so do I wait or go with intel?  I have good and bad about both. also the MOBO I like supports both sockets.

Thanks in advance. If i missed something its because I'm still pretty new.

If you're looking for a white CPU cooler I'd definitely consider the Cryorig H5 Universal and R1 Universal. Both are white and look super cool, and cool super well. Also, the Cryorig C1 is not bad but it's a flat cooler, looks very nice imho.

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

iPad Air 2 (for school)

iPhone 6

Xbox One Forza 6 Limited Edition Blue

For $700 USD, a i3-6300 is actually a really good "bang for your buck" if you are not planning to overclock. If you are, go for the i5-6600k. Trust me, for 1080p, an i3 and an i5 won't have that much of a difference. (3-5 fps)

Ah so something like one LGA 1151 and one LGA 2011

It's probably not impossible, but I see why it's not done.

Yes but OP wants something like Zen and Skylake which is impossible

It might be doable. But one of the two CPUs would act as coprocessor.

But it's not gonna happen xD

i5s age a lot better than i3s, and performance differences will depend on games but will matter a lot in Cities: Skylines and GTA V to name a few.

The OP has a Mid ATX case, so a Micro ATX board might not look so good in it.

I guess a lot of it comes down to how many cpu intensive games you play. I think if your staying at 1080p and your not aiming to push past 60 fps. the i3 would work great. I have a i3 in my HTPC and have no problem playing game like gta 5, fallout 4, modded skyrim.

yeah. thats what im going for. I'm not a hardcore gamer. this pc will maily be used to run my internet compaines. so no real need for overclocking or things like that. I was originally thinking about the rx480 till i saw the prices of the gtx1060

This is a White/Black themed ATX build that you might want. @mfreckelton

NOTE: The GTX 1060 is actually a Asus Dual RX 480 4GB. It wasn't on there. ($220 on Newegg.)

Also, PC Partpicker just shows the RAM as red. You can get black or white too.
