Bluescreen CPU whea_uncorrectable_error

Hey Guys just wondering if anybody else has had this issue

 

I bought a s/h 2600k cpu. All installed a seated fine. boots to bios fine. but when you load windows bluescreens says whea_uncorrectable_error.

tried another motherboard,ram same issue. tried fresh install same issue.

 

motherboards work fine boot with another cpu.

 

Im guessing the cpu is toast. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue

Do you mind letting me know if it only happens in windows OS, or other like linux and if its windows what version?

Happens on win7 thou to windows 10

Okay,  Also it seems to be the CPU being the code is related to hardware failure as well it is giving and it does not seem to be the board based on what you said. You would have just got a bad cpu or it has hand oils on the back of the cpu where the pins are which is causing the issue or a pin is damaged.

yeah looks like cpu is bad cheers for the help. Pins are fine. cleaned cpu still same. 

guess take that gamble when you buy s/h

Yeah, Well Sorry i couldn't help you more. Seems to just be a bad cpu. I would always recommend buying new unless your buying from a friend. Older cpus can be sold for cheap as well on places like newegg and amazon.
