Hi everyone,

I need a new phone and I was considering the OnePlus 2. I live in Canada, and it's 400$ for the 64GB of storage/4GB of RAM phone. I see that there's also the OnePlus 3, but it's over 120$ more for extremely similar specs, and the OnePlus 2 looks good enough for what I need.

Is this a good choice? I looked at other phones in the same price range, and it looked like the best deal according to the specs, and all the reviews are favorable.

One question about the USB connection : it's type C, but my computer only has USB ports. Can I still charge the phone using the included "USB Power Adapter", or do I have to buy a converter and use it on a USB port?

Thanks for the feedback and information!

If it plugs in to your computer, then you can use it. If you can't, look for a converter.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

@bob51zhang I don't have it yet so I'd like to know before I get it, so that I can order a converter at the same time.

Can I just use the included cable and plug it into a USB 2.0/3.0 port on my computer, or does it use some special connector? From the pictures it looks like one side of the cable is type C (the part that connects into the phone) but I don't know about the other one. Their website gives hardly any details.
